Breakfast in the family. At 8.30 am cultural trip by bus to Nuoro. During the trip, a visit to the Nuragic place of Santa Cristina near Abbasanta. At 13.30 bag lunch at the Monte-Ortobene. In Nuoro there will be the visit to: Grazia Deledda Museum and Museum of Sardinian Costume.
At 20.30 return to host families and dinner. Participants: the class of Bucharest + class I C + 5 students of III D of our Institute.

Me and my Island.
Sardinia is an Island in the Mediterranean Sea. The main cities are: Cagliari, Sassari, Nuoro and Oristano. There are other important towns: Alghero, Bosa, Olbia, La Maddalena, Sant'Antioco, Villasimius, Quartu, Tortolì, Orosei... The capital of Sardinia is Cagliari. It is in the south of the island. At about 50 km there is my little town: San Gavino. In the San Gavino there are 10.000 people. The services are: the post office, the station, the hospital, the foundery, schools from nursery to the liceo, the police station and sport services. In this days we visit the town of Nuoro, the capital of the Barbagia Region and dominated by mount Ortobene. On mount Ortobene there is the monument of “Il Redentore”. In the last week of August there is the feast of the “Redentore”, with its parade of costumes from all the villages of Sardinia.

La Sardaigne est une île dans la mer Méditerranée. Les villes principales sont: Cagliari, Sassari, Nuoro et Oristano. Il existe d'autres villes importantes: Alghero, Bosa, Olbia, La Maddalena, Sant'Antioco, Villasimius, Quartu, Tortolì, Orosei ... La capitale de la Sardaigne est Cagliari. C'est dans le sud de l'île. Ma petite ville San Gavino se trouve à environ 50 km. Il y a 10.000 personnes. Les services sont: le bureau de poste, de la gare, l'hôpital, le foundery, les écoles de la maternelle au lycée, la police et les services sportifs. En ce jour, nous visitons la ville de Nuoro, capitale de la Région Barbagia et dominée par le mont Ortobene. Le mont Ortobene il y a le monument du "Il Redentore". Au cours de la dernière semaine du mois d'août est la fête de la "Redentore", avec son défilé de costumes de tous les villages de la Sardaigne.
WHY VISIT NUORO? Grazia Deledda was born in Nuoro;
we can't forget the poet Sebastiano Satta and the politician Attilio Deffenu.
